Korean game companies expand their social activities
Korean game companies gradually expands their social activities, from domestic to other counturies.
It is more important than any other companies' activities due to making differences in their own way. The game companies' social activities feature combining game or IT, or sharing unique experiences.
Nexon Korea made social distribution brand 'Nexon Hands' to coexist company and society, and the keyword for the company is 'Children'. Nexon focuses on the Children's health and education, also it is famous for 'Nexon's little library'. 'Little library' launched in 2004, and the library has provided many books to 103 domestic and local children's centers , and 5 in foriegn counturies. Recently, Nexon opens 5th library in Laos, including around 4,000 books along with tables and chairs.
NCsoft developes very special app for developmental disorder child called 'MYAAC: Augmentative and Alternative Communication'.The MYAAC decreases miscommunications and increases developing language skills, featuring with sybolic images and voices for disorder child to help. There are three steps according to the disorder levels. It make children subsitute the communicative expressions with connecting symbol to symbol, from basic communcations to over 300 examplary cases.
Riot Games Korea shows social contribution program, the theme of Korea 'Cultural Properties', also other companies like Webzen, Wemade Entertainment, Blizzard Entertainment Korea, Netmarbles starts their own social acitivities for making better society.

Workshop Final in DFA class (Final Crit)

Workshop design in DFA class (First Crit)
Layout and basic lighting made by Maya, I used Photoshop for drawing, I made most detail by using photo texture, I need more local color and change the railing, and some better lighting.

PUZZLE GAME RESEARCH
UNCHARTED 1 CHAPTER 2 MAIN PUZZLE
The primary mechanics of the game are walking around and pushing the patterns on the wall.
The challenge of the map was to find and push each the patten on the wall, in order which can be checked in the note that player have.
If the player did not push the pattern in proper order, the stage were reset, going back to the beginning. The player must check the
patterns what to push first according to the hints on the note, with good observation.
The type of the puzzle in this map is, 'Sequence' puzzles, becuase the puzzle on the map relys on performing a series of actions in just the right order.
There is no discussion or explanation on the hints, there are only numbers and patterns on the note. The player must figure out what these means.
The puzzle that I will make would be the 'Sequence' puzzle. Put the weapons on a grinder, get a coin, put the coin in a gambling machine, obtain a random weapon.
There would be hints beside of the gambling machine for player to follow.

A game event happens with he's partner, the player saying he know the patterns around this room, now the player can open his note.ddd
There are 4 patterns and 4 numbers in the note,Now the player start to solve the puzzle, he is searching around the room and find pattern #1.
He found pattern #1 and trying to get there.He arrived on pattern #1 and pushing the pattern,so that one of stone pillar rising from ground,this animation makes player feel something is going on.

Inventory Blueprint Problem solved
I had problem with inventory and it solved in this morning, It was simple variable fix in game HUD widget, Scott helped me fixing this problem. I think I need learn more debug function in Blueprint.

Netmarble Games makes great profit
Netmarble Games got the wings in mobile market. November 11th, the company received grand award of National Game Award in Korea with its game 'Raven'. Moreover, new 'Idea' makes huge profits by becoming the number 1 downloaded game in Korea.
According to Netmarble Games' announcement, it reached maximum actual result in this quarter.
The accumulated sales soured more around 700 millions dollars. Especially, the company was turning from online to mobile business, more than 90 percents, and giving the effects these days.
Also, the company has the steady sellers, like 'Seven Knight', 'Everyone's Marble', and they released
3 years ago. By the result, the games that ranked in from top 1 to top4 in mobile games, are from Netmarble Games.
Now, the company is trying to make a big step to go glabal with the top games, starting from China market, alsom there are more lineups coming up near future.

National Videogame Museum will be opened in Taxas!
The National Videogame Museum will open its doors at the Fisco Discovery Center approximately in late December. The Museum will feature an extensive collection of more than 100,000 consoles, games, and other games which dated back to the early days of the game industry.
Moreover, the museum will emphasize on the importance of the science, technology, engineering and math to the video game industry.
There are impressive intallations that visitors later can look for, "Head-to-Head Hall" is a hall full of gaming stations where the people go head-to-head with friends and families. Visitors may find a set of game systems and games that never had been seen before. "Rarest Artifacts" where is a collection of rare artifacts will be displayed including the only Sega Neptune prototype, the unreleased Barbie edition for the Nintendo Game Boy Pocket system, and other games.
The museum will share the Frisco Discovery Center with the Sci Tech Discovery Center, Black Box Theatre, and Frisco Art Gallery.
