Netmarble Games makes great profit

Netmarble Games got the wings in mobile market. November 11th, the company received  grand award of National Game Award in Korea with its game 'Raven'. Moreover, new 'Idea' makes huge profits by becoming the number 1 downloaded game in Korea.

According to Netmarble Games' announcement, it reached maximum actual result in this quarter.
The accumulated sales soured more around 700 millions dollars. Especially, the company was turning from online to mobile business, more than 90 percents, and giving the effects these days.
​Also, the company has the steady sellers, like 'Seven Knight', 'Everyone's Marble', and they released
3 years ago. By the result, the games that ranked in from top 1 to top4 in mobile games, are from Netmarble Games.

Now, the company is trying to make a big step to go glabal with the top games, starting from China market, alsom there are more lineups coming up near future.

National Videogame Museum will be opened in Taxas!

The National Videogame Museum will open its doors at the Fisco Discovery Center approximately in late December. The Museum will feature an extensive collection of more than 100,000 consoles, games, and other games which dated back to the early days of the game industry.



Moreover, the museum will emphasize on the importance of the science, technology, engineering and math to the video game industry.

There are impressive intallations that visitors later can look for, "Head-to-Head Hall" is a hall full of gaming stations where the people go head-to-head with friends and families. Visitors may find a set of game systems and games that never had been seen before. "Rarest Artifacts" where is a collection of rare artifacts will be displayed including the only Sega Neptune prototype, the unreleased Barbie edition for the Nintendo Game Boy Pocket system, and other games.

The museum will share the Frisco Discovery Center with the Sci Tech Discovery Center, Black Box Theatre, and Frisco Art Gallery.

Korean Company Com2s joined 'Brazil Game Show 2015"

 



Com2s successfully participated in 'Brazil Game Show 2015' where is the most biggest market in South America.

 

Recently, Brazil becomes new game market boosting up to those of the United States, Japan, and Europe. Com2s is one of the major Korean mobile game companies which joined to the game show, promoting the company itself and their major games, also communitcating to the global gamers. 
 

The eighth 'Brazil Game Show' was held from Oct 9 to 12, is the biggest global game show, and Com2s was the only Korean game company with independent game booth. The company sucessfully promoted 'Summernus War' that was steadily loved by Brazil, Chile, and the other South American countries. Also, the gamers could get limited presents and test other Com2s games.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will launch on next month!

 

 

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics' "Rise of the Tomb Raider has" gone through a lot of improvements for the past number of months.

 

The game takes on the story of Lara Croft as she is about to start her journey into being the world-renowned tomb raider. As for the gameplay itself, the approach of the game is very tactical-stealth, technique and strategy are the most important components in surviving. Weapons are not always the necessity, as getting out of tricky situations without being seen.

 

 

The game will be released on November 10th according to the companies.

Xbox One wireless controller is coming!

 

 



Microsoft advised that the Xbox One wireless controller adapter for Windows 10 PCs will be available for purchase next week.

 

The adapter will connect Xbox One wireless controllers to Windows 10 PCs without the need for a cabled connection. The adapter supports Xbox One controllers only and does come with a USB extender cable that can be used to connect and charge. However, among the users, there is a rumor that the adapter only connects a single wireless controller to one PC, meaning users need to purchase multiple adapters in order to connect multiple controllers. This could be a problem if it is true.

 

The device will be available from October 20th.

Epic Games Korea will hold a conference for pro-game developers

Epic Games Korea (Seoung-Chul, Park) announces that the company will hold 'Unreal Summit Premium' in Seoul, Korea.

This conference differs from other Unreal Summits, because only 'professional game developers' who are in the current game industry fields can participate this event, unlike 'Unreal Summits Seoul' or 'Unreal Summit Tour' which opens to the public.

Upcomming event in October 28th, 'Unreal Summit Premium West' will be held in Guro Seoul Digital City where the most game companies are in business near Seoul. Also, the other conference, 'Unreal Summit Premium South' will be on November 4th in Pan Gyo, joining major Korean game companies like Nexon and NCsoft.

Epic Game Korea plans to share up-to-date technolgies, including HLOD and navigation mash usage from Unreal Engine 4, Landscape Grass, World Composition, and other latest tools. Also, the company will share major plans for 4.10 updates. The conference will present more profound views and sessions for the professional game developers.

Last prologue of 'Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void' revealed

 

 

"Legacy of the Void" is the ultimate chapter in the "StarCraft 2" trilogy.

 

Blizzard Entertainment streamed a new gameplay trailer for " StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" features its multiplayer co-op gameplay called "Co-op Missions". Originally called "Allied Commanders" during "Legacy of the Void's" beta gameplay, the goal of the "Co-op Missions" is to complete objective based missions or scenarios that gamers and their supposed partners will take as they will have to work together in order to finish it.

 

The game will roll out as of November 10th for Windows and OS, but players can play a prologue campaign, where players join Zeratul on three missions to unravel the final piece of the Xel’naga prophecy.
